My name is Lorenz Trüb and I grew up in Central Switzerland. As a hockey player, I was able to gain valuable experience in this popular and competitive sport in Lucerne, Zug and Seewen and to get to know different training methods.
Due to various injuries, I started in 2002 with my coaching education. After six years as a coach at HC Luzern, the opportunity presented itself to the EV Zug as a young coach in a new environment to gain valuable experience. Thanks to my enthusiasm for hockey and numerous further education courses, I was able to take on additional tasks in Central Switzerland. After a year as an assistant coach for the youngest players stage I was promoted to head coach of this team for 6 years.
In order to have more influence on the children’s development, I decided to become a club coach again. This gives me the opportunity to work intensively with the child players and to look after them personally. It gives me great pleasure to work with young and motivated children. This is my main driver as a club coach on the recent stages of laying the foundation for an open hockey future.
My enthusiasm for hockey and the joy of sharing my knowledge and experience moved me to offer private practice and hockey camps in addition to my club activities.
Off the ice, I was active for 3 years as head of sport for the HC Lucerne and now I am an active member of the board since 2013.
In the summer I am at training camps both in Switzerland and abroad.
